The staff do go above and beyond to ensure the kids safety during lock-downs. Most teachers are great and the new Admin have made great improvements to the school. Most of the kids in my child's class are right on grade level and there is also an advanced reading group. My child has loved all of the teachers and also loves the family events. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter 6 years at ITDS this will be our last. When our youngest started the school felt like an oasis in a sea of mediocre public and charter schools. Now sadly it simply is not what it was. Teacher retention is abysmal, discipline problems are common, students are just generally not motivated to learn especially by the middle school grades. There are some fantastic teachers who are really trying to be creative but thats unfortunately balanced out by inexperienced and under qualified instructors who can’t manage the classrooms.Parent Review2y ago
