My son attended this school at 2th grade. I can't even believe what they did to him. The food is absolutely horrendous and when my son came back he threw up all over the carpet! Now I'm stuck with this mess writing this review. One day when he came back from school, my baby boy told me that his teacher punched him in the face while I saw he he was covering his cheek with an ice pack. I will NEVER come back to this school for what they did to my kid. The teachers are cruel and terrible, one time my son said that a group a boys ganged up on him and his virginity was stolen, WHILE THE TEACHER WATCHED!

This school is a wonderful institution that fully prepares a child to take on the challenges of life. All of my daughters attended it and we, as parents, couldn't be happier.

Great experience at Holy Trinity Catholic Academy. both my children are doing great, my son just graduated 8th grade with honors and my daughter is starting middle school and I know she will be well prepared for high school just as my son was. Teachers are amazing and school spirit and sense of community is amazing

I was there for most of my life and I loved it. It is most definitely worth the amount of money you must spend to go here. This is because of all the programs they have and field trips that most private schools definitely don't have. Slight bulling but this is a problem in all schools. Learning differences are not a problem since they will allow special help to help you. Teachers are very helpful and are fun. They make you do Dance Music and art so you are exposed to each subject. VERY large History program. I am a much better writer thanks to Pine Point. The students are mostly easy to get to be friends with. And it is a welcoming community. I recommend this school

When we made the decision to relocate our family to Connecticut, our first priority was finding the right educational environment for our daughter. We wanted a community that would not only welcome her, but a curriculum that would inspire a lifetime love of learning. We found both at IDS. From day one she came home excited and inspired by her classroom environment. Her confidence has grown in areas that once challenged her and she is embracing the IDS “fearless” learning philosophy by trying new things such as writing the class newsletter, performing in front of the entire school for “dancing with the stars” and learning to play the clarinet. We are grateful to be a part of this wonderful community where inclusivity and kindness are celebrated.

Our family spent two years at GCS. We hoped for an inclusive environment but encountered a toxic culture that failed my son on every level.The dysfunction starts at the top. In two years, we never even met the principal. Because of this absent leadership, there is no sense of community. The culture revolves entirely around money, with a constant push for "donations here," while offering zero support.My son has a physical difference. Rather than fostering acceptance, the faculty actively isolated him. The most jarring moment came during a parent-teacher conference when his 1st-grade teacher referred to our son as "weird." An educator using such a damaging label shows a shocking lack of empathy.Because of his physical difference, my son required a 504 plan for physical accommodations. GCS completely hijacked it. Check-ins regarding his actual needs were limited, and the staff wrongfully shifted the focus from physical support to behavioral micromanagement. We received relentless weekly emails complaining our 7-year-old was being "too silly." They pathologized normal childhood joy.The school's "Virtue of the Month" program is incredibly hypocritical. Over two years, my son watched his peers win while he was continually overlooked. He was acutely aware of this exclusion. Despite multiple conversations advocating for him, teachers never granted it to him. The most sickening part? Students who actively bullied my son and used racial slurs were given the award. It’s a popularity contest that rewards cruelty and ignores kind kids.There are minimal music programs. Art class consisted of construction paper and toilet paper rolls. Science Fair projects were reduced to toilet paper rolls and tissue boxes—supplied by the parents!
