The teachers are so kind and involved in your learning, and the area is a safe space free of discrimination such as sexism or ableism. I feel so welcome here! SMS is a great middle school to send your child to, especially if they are Catholic.

We wanted a community that would not only welcome her, but a curriculum that would inspire a lifetime love of learning. We found both at IDS. From day one she came home excited and inspired by her classroom environment. Her confidence has grown in areas that once challenged her and she is embracing the IDS “fearless” learning philosophy by trying new things such as writing the class newsletter, performing in front of the entire school for “dancing with the stars” and learning to play the clarinet.
