I think this school is perfect for my child. The teachers there have such patience and genuinely care about their students. I am very happy and would give this school a 10 out of 10
Posted by a parent on 7/22/2017My daughter has attended this school for 3 years and she absolutely loves it. We do too! The principal and teachers are invested in the children and helping them learn in a christian environment. I highly recommend this school.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school used to let parents help out on firld day, but not anymore. N prepared to ask for an IEE if you want your child tested. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWest Woods School is an amazing elementary school. The teachers care deeply about the kids and the administration is top notch. Recently, the school has undergone some needed repairs to the roof and the HVAC system. The building is older, but also has a lot of space, a nice open courtyard and a great playground. I certainly feel that my children are being taught well, and kept safe. I do have strong concerns about the political establishment, cronyism, extreme agenda and waste in Hamden as a whole and these do have an impact on the school system (and our incredibly high taxes), but West Woods School truly is an wonderful place to learn.Parent Review2y ago - Alice Peck Pre-K Program
