What is the point of going to this school even there is more high school near Hamden? Some teachers act like they are children. Also, they are doing a "say something" campaign but never works they just doing it for performance. I don't feel safe in school.
Posted by a parent on 3/3/2022Hamden High provides not only a great education to all but also to those kids who are looking for something extra, be it sports, band or orchestra, drama, etc. Many dedicated teachers and staff too! Our three kids attended and all were well prepared for college and beyond.

Want your child to learn to understand people who are different from him or herself? Check. Hamden High is a very special place. If you're luck

They will try to push it off as long as possible. Theres basically no whole school behavior incentive. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school and district! Hamden condones bullying. My child has come home with marks and bumps on his head in Kindergarten. Nothing was done and my transfer request to another school was denied by the Superintendent without any conversation. When I tried to follow up after my child had a knot on his forehead he blocked my email address. When i contacted the board of education, they said the decision is made by the Superintendent.
