The school is a joke. They made a new rule where people can't even take out their phones during their free time. This led to my peer not being able to contact anyone and having a panic attack, which made them lock her in a bathroom with a teacher and call an ambulance. This school is a joke and does
Posted by a student on 8/28/2026This school has no support for children who struggle. The school pass these kids through for good ratings. Poor preparation for college. Guidance counselor was unsupportive and not helpful. I do not recommend this school.
Posted by a parent on 5/31/2025Great sports and arts help drive this amazing feeder school where kids get into (mostly) the colleges of their choice. State champs in Soccer and Football this year too. Good teachers and administrators who care.
Posted by a parent on 1/16/2023Amazing high school experience! And a “feeder school” for the best colleges in this country and overseas! From the principal on down… Administrators and teachers are always willing to help and communicate. The school makes it easy to transition your child from middle school to college. The facilities,
Posted by a parent on 1/14/2023Surprisingly homophobic on pride month, multiple kids saying deplorable things and laughing. Would not recommend attending for any diversity reasons. Minus points for friend being pushed down a flight of stairs and not giving friends the accessibility they need to learn

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll of our children have attended Julian Curtiss for elementary school and our youngest is a current student. We've watched the school grow and improve firsthand. Every child has been nurtured and supported by an incredible staff. Because it's a smaller school, the family engagement is wonderful and the community feels tight-knit, it truly is a second home. The administration and teachers alike are incredibly dedicated, compassionate, and genuinely invested in each child's education and well-being. It's also worth noting that JC recently became a School of Distinction, and Greenwich Public School's nominee for CT Teacher of the Year is JC's own Mr. Ehlinger. Outside of the classroom, the JC community is supported by an exceptional PTA; they host fantastic community building events, create meaningful experiences for students, and support Julian Curtiss in so many ways.Parent Review2mo ago - North Street School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is way too boring. The classes are 7 hours long. That is how bad it is. The school lunch is gross! Broken plates in the hallway. The teachers are mean. How are they this bad?! Mold infestations in the kitchen. Unsafe chemicals sprayed on the floor. PERIOD. DON'T LEARN HERE!Parent Review7mo ago - Brunswick School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen my family moved to Greenwich, my dad insisted that I go to Brunswick, assuming that the best private school in town must be the best in the area. We didn't realize that Greenwich Public Schools were as good--if not better--than Brunswick in almost every respect. After my Sophomore year, I chose to leave Brunswick and go to the high school. No question in my mind that the academics were stronger at the high school and the students were better overall at GHS. Leaving Brunswick and going to Greenwich High School instead was the best choice I ever made.Other Review1y ago - Greenwich Country Day School
