Jennings School

This is the WORST SCHOOL I have ever sent my son to . I get nothing but complaints all day EVERYDAY about someone bothering / touching my kid . The teachers don’t care neither does the principal (she never solves anything just pushes it to the side) . I’ve been to the school on multiple occasions already for issues that they do not resolve nor wish to resolve . This school is a joke & I would NEVER send my kid here again . If I had to rate it out of 10 it’d be a -10000. I wouldn’t recommend even for the worst of children that’s how terrible this school is .

Do NOT accept a lottery acceptance from this school. Only the teachers in this school really care for the students, the counselor even picks favorites, usually with the female students. The P.E. teacher only cares for participation and does not care if you physically cannot participate, or even for medical reasons. The teachers there is a lottery in itself, you could get an amazing teacher who really wants the kid to flourish, or one who doesn't care for your student whatsoever.

First year at this school. There is a new principal, after the long-term principal went to another school. Enrollment is very high due to the Coronavirus and the fact that the diocese never closed down the schools. This school is a great neighborhood school with teachers who care. I was very surprised at the amount of clubs and sports teams the school has. The students are taught catholic values and i'm so happy that my daughter is being taught about our great country and our heroes when so many public schools seem to be at war with the police and patriotism overall.

As a parent, I haven't experienced another school quite like Unquowa. The teachers do an incredible job of celebrating what makes each child unique while also making sure they are challenged and don't avoid the hard work that helps them grow.My child feels known, supported, and encouraged here every day. Unquowa is the kind of place where students explore their passions, build confidence, and become their very best selves.
