They have allowed my niece to be bullied last year and didn't do anything about it. They now have allowed my other niece to be choked today. When calling them about it they are brushing it off. This Is NOT okay.

And then they would celebrate when my son had the highest test scores, yet they would only allow him to go to school for 2 hours a day. That’s because of us, not
Posted by a parent on 6/27/2025I love all the teachers at this school and my kids look forward to attending everyday. Sometimes I feel that my daughter loves her teacher more than me. This is comforting and the principle has been great as well.
Posted by a parent on 4/11/2016This is really a great school. I'm happy I choose Semper School for my kids. The teachers are really professional, caring and accommodating. My daughter joined the school after 2 months of starting the session but they managed it very well.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJefferson Academy has its reputation based on the past. Jefferson Academy Elementary is a horrible school. The principal - Mr.Feddema is a very incompetent leader. The administration does nothing about bullying. They bully the parents if you raise your voice. The Executive Director doesn't want to be involved in anything. There are turnovers and changes in staff every year. They hire incompetent teachers just to have a warm body in the classroom. JA was not like this when I went to school. Great teachers don't stay in this school for a long time. EAs treat children like they are in concentration camp. My kids were not happy at JA. Violence among the students is high. The administration does nothing about it. It's a very toxic place.
