Read what parents are saying about Semper Elementary SchoolI love all the teachers at this school and my kids look forward to attending everyday. Sometimes I feel that my daughter loves her teacher more than me. This is comforting and the principle has been great as well.
Posted by a parent on 4/11/2016This is really a great school. I'm happy I choose Semper School for my kids. The teachers are really professional, caring and accommodating. My daughter joined the school after 2 months of starting the session but they managed it very well.
Posted by a parent on 9/13/2014This is a wonderful, nurturing environment for my children. The teachers have been excellent with their teaching methods and staying in touch with parents. I am so happy my children are attending such an amazing public school. Bravo!
Posted by a parent on 7/28/2014This school has been amazing! They've worked with my son's Aspergers and my daughter has been so happy here! It's a fun, nurturing environment.
Posted by a parent on 11/28/2012I'm very pleased with the new principal and the level of communication he has with all of the parents. He's very involved with the students and is making an enormous effort to know each and every one of them. The kindergarten teacher is assertive and fair and after just 3 days my daughter has learned a new song and the rules of her classroom.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHave had two children (6 years apart) attend this school, and they are so welcoming and inclusive to all - race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or neurodivergence. They have one of the ASD centers of Jeffco, and all staff are just more understanding of neurodivergent children, whether they are in the ASD program or not. They also have a school psychologist and a Social Emotional Learning specialist, and the children regularly engage in social emotional learning. There are events and meetings to help bring the community together as well. The normal PTA meetings, but also school accountability meetings where parents and principle/staff can talk. There are monthly coffee community meetings, where they teach us about a certain topic - such as safe technology, assessments, neurodiversity. I just love how supportive they've been of my kids. As far as discipline/bullying I've only had a couple instances that were taken care of very fast. Example is one time my older son was thrown down and scraped up by an angry friend and it was taken very seriously. Afterwards they even included a group friend discussion and helped my son and his friend work through the upset, and continued to monitor - nothing more ever happened, I really think helping them work through the problems was key.Parent Review2mo ago - Woodrow Wilson Charter Academy

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just came to this site to compare Woodrow Wilson to our nearby public school. My child and I were discussing standardized testing and together we were looking for comparison data. I am leaving this review because I was shocked at other reviews I saw here. We have two kids in Woodrow Wilson Academy and our experience with the school goes back the last 6 years. The school has been fantastic for that entire period. The students are great, the teachers are great, the PTA is great, the principal is great, the in-school atmosphere is great, and the education is great. Is there too much homework? Arguably. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Woodrow Wilson and anyone who thinks it has been going downhill is absolutely mistaken.Parent Review4w ago - Shepherd Of The Valley Lutheran School
