Appleton Elementary School

If I knew exactly how they treat children and children with disabilities I would have never placed my children here. Aggressive behavior from teachers , unwanted touching from one of my student’s teachers that resulted in his shirt being ripped, strict dress code. If not followed lunch detention occurs. New students to the school are singled out with unfair treatment. My kids have been crying for me to remove them , none of my children have had the stress they have now from attending. Our children deserve better.

Parents and stakeholders are amazing and involved. All the staff are friendly and caring, with a deep understanding of curriculum and social-emotional learning.

As a student in this school, I can say that this school is amazing. After struggling with falling grades, my family chose to enroll myself and my three siblings in the program. I have been with this school for years now and have enjoyed great academic growth. Involved parents, passionate teachers, and attentive advisors all contribute to not only my success, but many others. As a whole, we scored higher than the rest of our school district on standardized tests. One thing is important to know - this school requires work. Some families have joined looking for an easy option and left when they realized the responsibility and dedication that students and parents must have. But for those who committed to learning and willing to work hard for it, I promise that this school will equip students with an amazing education.

My three boys have gone to this school. My youngest is just finishing 8th grade. We LOVE this school. The sense of community is wonderful. The teachers really care about the students, and it shows. The academics are developmentally appropriate, which was a huge bonus for my kids. The festivals are so much fun. The staff is pleasant! I would recommend this school to most families!
