Read what parents are saying about The Montessori School Of Washington ParkMSWP is an amazing school! My son went there for 2 years and my daughter is now in the Toddler Community and will continue for another 3 years. The teachers are very well versed in everything Montessori and are kind, compassionate people. The classrooms are wonderful, peaceful and traditional Montessori. The kids learn so much. I cannot recommend this school enough. The parent/family involvement is wonderful as well. Great place to start your child's education if you live in or around Wash Park, Denver.
Posted by a parent on 2/27/2014Amazing school with everything your child deserves! My son attended all 3 years and is leaving an independent, smart, happy 5 year old. Faculty and administrators are gifted and guide children with love and support.
Posted by a parent on 6/5/2013MSWP is a wonderful school! It offers a warm, nurturing environment that fosters a true love of learning. The teachers are fantastic. My son has made lots of good friends - and we (his parents) have, too. It's a great place for a child's first school experience.
Posted by a parent on 6/9/2011This school is a hidden gem! The school has exceeded every one of my expectations and my child is doing wonderfully here. If you are looking for a warm, nurturing environment for your child to grow in--MSWP is the school for you. I can not imagine a better place to kick off a love of learning than MSWP.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the sweetest, most nurturing neighborhood schools in the city of Denver. Both the traditional and Montessori teachers are incredible. Many of them have been at the school for more than 10 years. The principal is a former Montessori teacher and knows the strengths of both forms of education. Her leadership has been a light in the public school system. There are very few schools that do both traditional and Montessori education this well. Both of my children have thrived, love school, feel comfortable and safe in this environment.Parent Review5mo ago - McKinley-Thatcher Elementary School

I have witnessed her getting loud with one of the male paras in the hallway. I saw this picking up my little brother from school. I consider this unprofessional and very disturbing behavior to treat colleagues like this. Next year i will be suggesting to pull my brother out because of this para. This is not how you treat fellow employees!Other Review11mo ago - Valverde Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I went to this school the teachers were excellent in 1st-4th grade , but once I went into 5th grade that's when it all changed. The teacher didn't really care about the students all they cared about was the students grades and getting paid. If you were falling behind in a subject well good luck to the student because there was no support, and if there was than the parents would have to pay that specific teacher money and that was on top of the tutition fee as well. There was a lot of bullying 5th-8th grade and teachers wouldn't even do nothing about it. They didn't care about the students mental health at all. If your kid has depression or anxiety they won't get any support at all. Especially if a student has special needs than kiss that education gone because they didn't have the proper tools to deal with them. The teachers would get overwhelmed even with 24-26 kids in a room. They couldn't handle that big of a class, and there were no supports for them if the teacher needed help. I remember that my art teacher almost quiet her job because of how disruptive the class was.Other Review1mo ago - Colorado Christian School
