DSST: Conservatory Green Middle School

Disappointment when the principal calls my daughter a liar for something her teacher agreed she did wrong. Principal is supposed to advocate for my child instead she plain insulted us!! God forbid it had been something worse she would also call my child a liar. This lady was recently hired and already She is not to be trusted!!!

Jill Corcoran the principal only engages in families that have money. Is not interested in anyone with color or disabilities.

We are so grateful to the teachers at Swigert, they are absolutely passionate and the children learn so much. Our communication with our teacher has been excellent, and we feel they play a big part in inspiring the kids to learn and like school. The teachers also seem very happy as they can teach the curriculum as they wish. This is a very well-funded school due to its fundraising which creates resources that the children benefit from. There are some fun family events during the year as well. 4/5 stars as I think it could be more of a diverse community and have seen unwelcoming high-school like behaviors from parents in the community that administrators turn a blind eye to, which can be uncomfortable. I hope in the future if the admins observe these behaviors they call them out so people can feel emotionally safe.

Why would a director consistently ghost another adult for no reason? If you run a school, you should respond to emails. This director has ghosted me multiple times. Also, my experience working here was not pleasant. Maybe it's time for the school board to shut this one down.

Love this school. The principal from day one has been extremely supportive, approachable and has interacted with our kiddo by getting down on his level and speaking to him and engaging with him directly. We have a kindergartner and all the big and little things she did made us and him feel very welcomed. We moved to this state in hopes of having a better education experience for our kids than what we were getting in the south and we have 100000% felt this was the right choice and school. The teachers are amazing and have taken time to even do check is with me at pick up to tell us how our kiddo is progressing and have provided suggestions on items we can improve on when asked or when needed. They genuinely appear to be interested in both his emotional and educational growth, support and needs. We wouldn't ask for a more supportive team to start our school journey.
