3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS IS A SERIOUS WARNING TO ALL CCD PARENTS!This school sent us to highplains under the idea everything would be covered of or 2e student. It quickly became nothing but broken promises and a lack of faculty resolve to fix it. I have been ignored by the principal and high ups. Now my student can't get bus transport half of the time and it will cost us 700$ a month to keep having him picked up/dropped off there. Now he goes to highplains and doesn't even do school work he draws all day and spends less than 20mins daily in class. DO NOT send your kids to this or any CCD school. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe best part of the community is the PreK program/classes. The worst of it comes from K-5. Not a safe learning environment. Most of the staff are not inviting and very dismissive. They don't try to help solve problems they would rather watch a fight go off. Some staff are okay but they never stay for after school activities, which we can't blame them fully for. If some of the kids are bad, you can imagine their parents. Administration keep this school operating smoothly, at least from a parent's point of view. Parent participation is high. It's in a good, safe neighborhood and I feel comfortable letting my kids walk home on thir own. This is a school where teachers send their own kids. Very diverse populationCons: Morning drop off is a circus, walk if you can. The building is rather small, and feels a crowded. Class sizes are acceptible, but the classrooms are small and music and art classrooms are inadequate. The playground is dated and needs a makover.
