This is a great school, but their math curriculum just really sucks. We use CPM, supposed to mean college prep math I guess, but it's just such a bad curriculum, it has so many tedious things and meaningless questions asking about our understanding. CPM in my opinion, is literally more of a language

Posted by a community member on 5/19/2017Great principal, plus teachers and staff are experienced. My kids love this school. I feel the school is safe and welcoming. Also, there are plenty of opportunities for parents to get involved (PTSA, SS Council, 8th grade graduation, etc).

My son has spent the last 3 years at Sierramont and has been continuously told to be an advocate for himself. Regardless of his autism or his IEP he's been thrown into a box.
