4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m reviewing in hopes there’s improvement and for incoming parents. The principal and teacher where helpful and kind in telling me what they did to improve, however, we moved schools. My non verbal autistic kid was coming home with injuries (lump on side of head, scrape on spine, bruises on shins). This is for 2022 a new teacher however she seemed nice. I was told communication for leaving school and inside the class was changed and other stuff so I really hope it has improved.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Ace Charter School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this school and it sucked, my teacher hated me even though I was doing amazing in every subject I had at the time. I even remember being stopped from leaving the classroom by him and he wouldn't let me leave until he did a wrong move and I just booked it out of the classroom, I will never forget the tears I had while running out of that classroom, completely filled with rage. I know I was kind of a bad student with my behavior, but I had having hard times at home yet, no one asked me what was wrong.Other Review2y ago4 Reviews - Cesar Chavez Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a very good school. My daughter has started their since kindergarten.there is a after school program that is called city year the help students with homework and they have time to communicate with their class mates.they have steam which helps them a lot.this program has helped me with my work schedule. The teachers support their students very well. They are very good teachers all of them are.The principal knows how to deal with problems.students have fun but there is also disculpen.the students communicate and play around very respectfully but also pay attention in school. This year is my daughters last year she is in 5th grade she is always telling me that she will miss her school from her principal to her friends. All in all this is the best elementary school I could have put my daughter in.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - San Antonio Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school to any parent. My nephew attended this school and experienced severe bullying by other students, including being jumped and physically assaulted. This caused him serious emotional and physical harm. What made it worse was the lack of support from staff. Instead of protecting him, his own teacher began treating him differently and unfairly.Like any child, he made a mistake. Instead of helping him learn and grow from it, the school labeled him as a “problem,” treated him like a liar, and made him feel like he was the issue. He was isolated, unsupported, and clearly not cared for. Because of this environment, he learned very little and dreaded going to school.Since transferring to a new school, the difference has been night and day. He is thriving learning more than ever, making friends, and feeling safe and supported. His confidence is back. His teachers care. He is respected and protected. That alone says everything.Children deserve a safe place to learn. This school failed him.Parent Review3mo ago3 Reviews
