Read what parents are saying about Cesar Chavez Elementary SchoolThis school is a very good school. My daughter has started their since kindergarten.there is a after school program that is called city year the help students with homework and they have time to communicate with their class mates.they have steam which helps them a lot.this program has helped me with my work schedule. The teachers support their students very well. They are very good teachers all of them are.The principal knows how to deal with problems.students have fun but there is also disculpen.the students communicate and play around very respectfully but also pay attention in school. This year is my daughters last year she is in 5th grade she is always telling me that she will miss her school from her principal to her friends. All in all this is the best elementary school I could have put my daughter in.
Posted by a parent on 2/8/2019This is a very bad school. Discipline not even exist here. Student curse hit each other. Bullies are every where and teacher don't do nothing. The principal is not even out at the school in the morning nor the evening time. I can't wait to move my child to a different school
Posted by a community member on 4/26/20161st Day of school (K) the teacher didn't introduced herself ,not even "Good morning". She didn't took the time to welcome my child or the others. I was so disappointed. I know now why a lot of parents are not happy at this school. This is not what I want for my child.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my humble opinion this is the best Rocketship school because they are not as strict on the kids. The OM is super friendly and super organized, the teachers here are TOP NOTCH, The principal here always listens to parent concerns and is bilingual. They are super big on community and it shows. They encourage parents to advocate for their children. The ISE(special education) team here is also top notch. The only thing I do not like is how small the campus is and where it is located because of parking issues.... that is it. If you want a family type school where you are not only given access but encouraged to talk to your children's teachers do it. If you want a school that has top notch education do it. The homework is a page of math, a page of english, some online programs like corelexia if needed and read to your kids/have them read... not overwhelming at all. The proof is in the pudding. My oldest who graduated is ahead of peers, my youngest who has special needs is not only included he made so much progress. During shutdowns kids here had work the NEXT DAY vs months of nothing until the district school figured it out. They do not cherrypick kids, they do not kick out kids they are a public school that just outperforms our neighborhood school when it comes to academics by a lot... honestly the community is better here too than our district school. Give it a try I PROMISE you will love it here and your children will thrive. I will cry when my youngest graduates from here. Never been or seen a school quite like this hidden gem.Parent Review1y ago - Clyde Arbuckle Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children attended San Antonio Elementary for 6 yrs (K-5). My experience as an active parent was a pleasant experience. Everyone from the administration, to the office staff, and all of their teachers were always very welcoming. Reading the past reviews only makes me think those parents were not as involved with their children's education as they should have been to make comments like that.Parent Review5y ago - KIPP Heartwood Academy
