Sunrise Elementary School

I moved to Rancho Cordova this year and it has been a couple months my kids are attending this school. In my experience, this is one the best elementary school in the region.

They keep removing any negative reviews, and having their staff write new fake positive ones. This place is terrible. My daughter was kicked out for not turning in her assignments on time, even though she had an emergency. I tried to keep my cool and contacted the principal....and wow that is the worst principal ever. She is condescending and not impartial whatsoever. She kept saying "well you should have dropped it off" very rudely, while I tried to explain to her that I was unable to due to an emergency! Please do not bring your kid here, one mistake and it will ruin them.

Navigator Elementary School is a wonderful school with a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The principal is caring, professional, and truly dedicated to the students' success. The administrative staff is very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist parents with a smile. School has before and after school program what is great for working parents.

Wouldn't recommend, the school has a very low amount of diversity and some of the staff are quite discriminatory. I have gotten multiple reports from my child of times where the staff members were being racist towards a classmate. I have also had many times where my child was extremely upset over the school's general rules. Overall, if you are trying to raise your child in a supportive and diverse school then I would not recommend this place.
