I have always been an honor roll student, and that continued at NHS, however I wouldn't say the staff played a big roll in this. A lot of the time I had to teach myself material, and even more often I would have to teach my peers the material. There have been countless days I come home stressed out

My middle daughter Graduated from NHS in 2007. She really was always focused @ NHS and her talents supported! She won a Performing Arts Scholarship from NHS &

Mr. Hemen is an amazing teacher and has "kid magic" like no other educator that I have worked with. Our child had such a great year and to be honest, Im actually kind of sad myself that she can't go back to his class. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had one daughter graduate from Dorothea Lange and another just entered Kindergarten this year. Our oldest went from being threated to be held back from her school in Nevada to becoming a top reader. She loved all of her teachers and counselor. Though in high school now, she has visited them several times and keeps in contact with several. Our K-schooler loves her teachers and loves going to school. The worst thing about Lange is the parking/drop off in the morning. The academic programs and teacher involvement are top notch.
