Posted by a parent on 6/26/2021Horrible leadership, but wonderful staff and teachers. The last two principals were both awful, the school psychiatrist is horrible. The superintendent doesn’t care about the students, he just cares about saving money.

I have seen my son grow into a confident, intelligent young boy in just his first year. We moved an hour south to live in Gilroy, to be able to send our child to oakwood. It is a decision that I am so glad I made!My niece who is entering 4th grade goes to oakwood as well. I have seen her THRIVE!! She is so intelligent, academically focused and well rounded. Every year she amazes me. Oakwood really helps each student be their best and reach their potential. It is the most positive and supportive environment I have seen. The school would do nothing to help us or correct the situation because they said there kids did nothing wrong.
