They do not assist with shoe tying nor put on backpacks or jackets if students are struggling. In class volunteers aren’t allowed which I’m sure is for a reason. My student was not comfortable speaking up and when she did was met with my-way mentality from the teacher. They may teach the curriculum however it is not a fun nor loving environment which is crucial to kids in trust building, confidence building, and creating love for school the first 2 yrs!! 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are a lot of parent/volunteer involvement. The teachers are excellent! The leadership is quite good! The school is not overcrowded. It sits outside of city limits like a small jewel. I’m very happy we found this place, and so are my children. It’s not too often children are excited to go to school— my kids tell me they love going to school! The school is small enough that everyone knows each other! Not sure if this all came after Covid, but from admin (new and old) not taking situations seriously to teachers not caring anymore, and kids who are repeated offenders not being held accountable especially when their grandmother is a teacher there- it’s heart breaking.
