Moving our children to Los Encinos from their previous school is a choice we wish we made sooner. The intimate school environment cultivates a strong sense of community and allows for individualized attention. The small class sizes allow teachers and administrators to really get to know each individual, understand their strengths and stretches, and challenge students to take risks and be their best selves. The education is a great combination of both an academic and progressive approach to learning. The strong sense of community creates a feeling of belonging, not just for students but for families as well. Students graduate for Los Encinos prepared for middle school, socially, emotionally and academically. Above all, Los Encinos instills the values of respect, kindness, empathy, inclusivity, and confidence in each of its students that pass through the red gates! Los Encinos has made such a positive impact on both of my daughters and, our family as a whole. It is a magical school!

Los Encinos School is a great balance between a traditional school and a progressive one. It is one of the last elementary settings which try to preserve childhood. The learning is rich and robust. The kids are the sweetest ever. The kids move on to middle school more than prepared academically and emotionally. It is a true gem!
