This school is the worst in every aspect besides the very few teachers that are great. As the echo chamber has said repeatedly if your child is BLACK do not send them here. American culture is non existent half of the staff do not speak English and black history month didn’t even get mentioned nor did my child have any curriculum related to it. For two years I got calls and texts about I.C.E agents in the area however I never could get ahold of the principal if my child had a bullying issue because of his race. This school has a major inclusion problem.Wipe the whole staff and start over. Glad graduation is 4 days away.

Charles White Elementary has truly transformed over the past year. Ever since the new administrator arrived, the school has been on a steady rise, and the difference is felt every single day. Test scores are up, students are excited to come to school, and parents feel more connected than ever through workshops, meetings, and School Site Council.Charles White is both a traditional school and a magnet center, and the partnership with LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) is something you will not find anywhere else. The school even has its own art gallery on campus where student work is proudly displayed. It is amazing to see how much creativity is celebrated here.Beyond academics, the school offers so much for our kids: Saturday reading clubs, after school tutoring, intervention support, educational field trips, fun clubs, and hands-on learning that feels like a true experience and not just worksheets.The staff is welcoming and BEYOND helpful. No matter what you need, someone will take the time to support you and your child. It really feels like a community that cares.As a parent, I also appreciate the extremely safe, fully closed campus. You must be buzzed in twice before entering, which gives me complete peace of mind every day.Charles White Elementary is truly a hidden gem. If you are looking for a school where your child will be supported, challenged, inspired, and safe, this is the place.

Overall, we’ve had an excellent experience at Olympic Primary Center. The teachers and administration have been great and very supportive. Our son (who has an IEP) felt very comfortable and learned a ton, while also making lots of new friends and becoming familiar with the school environment. Olympic Primary Center has done a great job of preparing him for kindergarten and beyond.

The condition of the school building is severely deteriorated, necessitating repairs and maintenance. The cleanliness standards are not up to par, both inside and outside the premises. Additionally, inadequate lighting in the hallways and classrooms presents a challenge for students to navigate. During class hours, noise levels are frequently disruptive, and students are observed aimlessly wandering in the hallways without permission or purpose.
