Leonora Fillmore Elementary School

My family and I love this school! I'm sorry for those who didn't have such a great experience. my 1st grader comes home every day with something new to share. She loves being a child of God and we've gained SO many school friends and their families! I love the fact that they dnt snap that ruler and head straight to detention. kids make mistakes and they help them learn from them to the best to their ability. You can't blame them for not having a resource class n then turn around and say they just want $. They teach and they protect I have such a strong liking for the school and staff. My child reads does math ties her own shoes is learning Spanish can work a tablet better I can and most of which she learned in kindergarten within a few months of going there and w/ no prior schooling I think that rocks! They build up her self esteem from being teachers helper for doing well to the p.e. teacher helping her conquer her fear of heights! Nobody there seeks recognition for doing their job or donating time or unused uniforms for the families that can use them. they just do it. I knew from day 1 this was thee best choice for my child and my family. come and give it a try, "It's Amazing!"
