My son goes here and his teacher is horrible. She DISCOURAGED him from reading because he was taking too many quizzes on the books. Also, she stopped paying any attention to him once she realized he wasn’t a problem. For example, if the kid who usually misbehaves doesn’t that day, they will get rewarded. But if my kid does something worth rewarding (like getting 100% on ALL his tests) the teacher says absolutely nothing about it.

School teacher and staff is friendly and caring

Excellent school with a caring and proactive staff. The teachers are highly qualified and the students are respected and encouraged. The principal is fair and open-minded.

Communication is not so great at this school. Received a call one day that they were transferring my child across the city soon to another school even though I live around the block from the school. Basically there is no space left for my child that has special needs and if I don’t accept this I will just get passed around to another school that would take him. This seems very unethical to treat kids with disabilities. Just be aware of the fake nice principle and good luck. My son who is autistic is now heartbroken because he has trouble making friends and any that he did make he has to leave them.

My son started at this school in 5th grade, two years later we are still very happy here. Great teacher and one incredibly amazing principle. I love my son being in a Chrisitian environment, we are not Seventh Day Adventist but also don't feel like we are treated any different. Love the amazing families we have met as well!
