Just like few mentioned, Gabriel has no regards for kids at Lemon Avenue Elementary. He started getting involved in recess yard and he will yell at kids with no respect of their emotions. I think he has no qualifications to deal with kids, he is generally guiding traffic and being rude to moms with

Experiences in and out of the classroom have always been inclusive and engaging. I have had very positive experiences with all staff and I feel like my students are happy and safe at school.
Posted by a parent on 9/4/2018We've been happy with Lemon. My daughter loves going to the garden to learn about how things grow. I do wish they had sports programs and second language programs. One thing I do have to say is that classes are big. Sometimes 30+ kids and the teachers don't have aids.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m very conflicted. While we LOVE some teachers with a passion (Hanlon, kinder, and Barrett,3rd) some teachers aren’t good especially middle school. My kid started to fall behind and they rarely made contact about it. The lady at the front desk is SO rude if she doesn’t like your kid and they pick favorites and pick on certain kids. Mine have gotten in trouble for things other kids don’t because they have both been singled out thanks to my situation and my older kid having struggles when we first started. If it were up to me they wouldn’t be there but it’s a joint decision and it’s not all my choice. In the 4th grade, my friend was being bullied and had major depression, and when she told teachers and staff. All they said was to pray and hope God will fix her. They all constantly referred to her as sick or in need of Jesus instead of helping her or telling her parents. She went on to become more violent and depressed. In 5th grade, she left the school. Another red flag about this school is that they are culturally insensitive. I was one of three Asian girls in my grade and teachers were constantly mixing myself and my friend up. They would call us by the wrong names and tell the class how we were "exotic". My former 6-grade teacher went as far as to teach us his political beliefs. My only memory of this school was constantly crying in the bathrooms because of how I was wrong or being publically shamed in class by my 7th-grade teacher.
