If I had to say anything negative, it’s just that they seem to change principals quite often but they seem to be going on to do something bigger within

They handled it with empathy and guided me through the entire process. He will be returning next year and I'm very excited for him to have Mrs. Joven as a teach

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvery announcement is last minute, short days, no think together, award ceremony, back to school night etc. Be aware of that, parents need to act quick, get a day off from work or arrange family members to pick up the kids. I get the announcement of short day 6 am in the morning via email, i only have 6 hours to figure out either leave work early or if i can't, i need to call off. The school expects parents in stand by mode 24/7. Some teachers are lazy, doesn't give out homework so they don't need to grade them, less work for them. They let kids bully, for example, my kid was in a group project, they use the Google slides to do it, one of the bully blocked my kid access to the Google slides, my kid told the teacher but she didn't do anything, so I emailed the teacher to asked her message the bully 's parents. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child’s 2nd Grade year was not great and left us to our own devices at home. We came up with our own science experiments, art projects, and journal writing. Whether children benefit much or not from homework the biggest gain is learning the structure of responsibility outside of school. If reading is the only homework I suggest assigning the class the same book, questions to follow-up with, maybe a book report at the end? And if possible please keep teachers in the classroom more. I sent a doctors note stating he had asthma and the front desk lady told my child he didn’t really have asthma and was just fat. Disgusting behavior to CHILDREN.Parent Review1mo ago
