Read what parents are saying about Bethel Lutheran SchoolWe love this school, and would highly recommend it to any familly who's looking for a great learning enviroment for their preschoolers. We like that the class is small in size and teacher - student ratio is high so that each teacher gets to know each child, and can pay proper attention to their different needs and learning capabilities. We also love the fun and rich activities the school has arranged to the students and families all throughout the school year. Our son really thrived over the last year and we can see positive improvement in his manner, character, skills and truth in Christinanity. The shool is full of loving and caring staffs and each one knows about each other. A few of our favorites are the weekly chapel days where the students would bring coins and prepare food as offering to those who are in need and practice prayers and singing in the Chapel, and that the family would volunteer in varies activities to earn service hours which offers a great opportunities for different families to get to know each other and be more engaged in the school activities.
Posted by a parent on 1/6/2019This school is amazing! My children attended Bethel for two years and I can't say enough great things about it. The teachers are excellent, academic standards are high, the extra programs at no additional cost are awesome ie: Chapel presentations, music, physical education, art and computer lab. The before and after school programs are great and drop offs were really smooth. Alot of times the kids didn't want to leave which was a good sign.
Posted by a parent on 9/23/2014This school is wonderful Pre-School through 5th grade campus in Cupertino. It's a small, well-established school with room to add more students. Warm, loving, well-equipped teachers. Strong support for children with some learning challenges; small class sizes mean children get personal attention from the teacher and solid, differentiated instruction. The Foundational Curriculum is strong and challenging, and supplements include Art, Music, P.E., Computers, Spanish, Field Trips, and Opportunities for public speaking. Lots of opportunity for parents to assist in the classroom and other places on campus within in a strong, and welcoming community. Our son loves attending Bethel, and they encourage his love of learning.
Posted by a parent on 4/27/2014Awesome school! Here are what I like about the school: -small class size: less than 15 students. One teacher with a part-time TA. My son is able to receive a lot of attention from the teacher. They even have regular 1:1 time. My friends worked so hard to send their kids to those famous public schools which there are more than 35 kids in one class. I really doubt how much attention they can get from the teacher. -Very nice play ground and spacious play area for kids running around to burn their energy. I especially love the shade at the play ground. My son didn't get the sun burn since he switched to this school - Great classes: They offer PE, ART, and computer classes. The PE teacher even offer sports activities such as soccer and baseball during the lunch break. My son is looking forward to lunch break every single day cause of it. - My son's teacher Mrs O'Dell is AMAZING. It took her only one and half semester to convert my son into a book lover. Now he can read and love reading, he enjoys doing math, he writes 10x better and he builds so much confidence throughout the learning experience.
Posted by a parent on 3/19/2013Beside the cool things mentioned by the previous parents, recently Bethel has added enhancement to its academic program, such as writing, Language and art, and math above CA standard. The principle is willing to receive parents' feedback to improve overall school program.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 5-year daughter has flourished in the past year at Villa Montessori School. At the moment of graduation, I would like to share my favorite points of Villa Montessori with future students and families.1.I love to see my daughter acquire practical life skills at the beginning, then explore academic realms with an individualized and flexible curriculum.2.All the teachers and office staff are professional, attentive, and kind. Mrs.Rajeshwaran, Mrs.Fan, Mrs.Lin, Mrs. DeSilva, and Mrs.Dhruva, thank you so much!3.My daughter is very active, sometimes too much. But she acquired self-control skills thanks to the child-centered, logical, and caring guidance of the teachers.4.I could see what was happening in the classroom by the weekly emails on the curriculum from Mrs.Lin, and the children's pictures uploaded biweekly. Villa also provides several workshops for parents on positive parenting, the importance of music for children, etc. 5.West Valley Elementary School allows Villa Montessori to share their Kindergarten yard, regular yard, library, etc. Children enjoy the wide open space outside of their classrooms.I'm grateful for the professional and warm support from Villa Montessori to my family. I am confident that your child will grow to be an accomplished and kind individual at Villa Montessori.Parent Review10mo ago
