NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrior to this school year, I would have wholeheartedly rated OLPH 5/5 overall. Since the Diocese removed our beloved principal & caring priest (after almost 20 year), an administration came in with a principal & priest who do not consult the parent board before making significant changes & important decisions, honor students’ feelings, or respect parent input They rule with hubris, ignorance, & a serious lack of perspective.After 8 years of having both of our children attend the school (& earn good grades), we made the decision to place them elsewhere, due to the principal failing to commit to the following (I quote):1. [students] will feel safe in their classroom;2. [students] will not be exposed to extremist religious comments made by staff/faculty; &3.
