We have been beyond thrilled with the care and education both of our kids have received at Nia House. It's hard for me to know where to begin. My first child is a 2020 baby, and it felt like a huge leap for us to start her in childcare. From the moment I set foot in the school, I couldn't have felt more confident in our decision. Every aspect of Nia House from the physical environment to the way teachers speak to the children is utterly thoughtful. The teachers are deeply knowledgable about development and about helping each unique child find their place in the community. The teachers and staff have also been extremely supportive of my husband and I as parents and have offered guidance and advice when we've run into challenges at home. I feel incredibly lucky to have Nia House as a partner in raising my kids!

We have had such an excellent experience at Walden Center and School. My son is currently in 4th grade, and he truly loves going to school every day, which as a parent is such a wonderful thing to see.One of the things I appreciate most about Walden is how well the teachers know each child as an individual. They understand how my son learns and are able to tailor their approach to his learning style, interests, and personality. He feels seen, supported, and encouraged to be himself.Walden also does a wonderful job of making space for creativity and self-expression. My son loves dancing, and getting the opportunity to perform at school has been such a meaningful part of his experience. It’s wonderful to see a school that values the arts and gives kids opportunities to share their talents and feel proud of what they can do.We are so grateful to the teachers and community at Walden. Our experience has been incredibly positive, and most importantly, our son is happy, engaged, and excited about learning. I would absolutely recommend Walden to other families looking for a school where children are genuinely known and supported.

My son is in his second year at this school. Because his birthday falls later in the year, he is repeating one more year of Pre-K 2, which means some of the themes are repeated (they have 5-6 different themes each year for different age group). What pleasantly surprised me is that even though the themes are the same, most of the content is updated each year. This means he is still learning new knowledge and participating in new activities.I also truly appreciate the teachers’ sense of responsibility, not only in academics, but also in caring for the children’s daily lives. Every day when I pick him up, he is happy and often doesn’t want to leave, which says a lot about his experience at school. The teachers are also very communicative and proactively share updates about his day. Both the lead teachers and assistant teachers know each child very well, which gives me great peace of mind.We feel very reassured and grateful.
