The principal, staff, teachers, and PTA are great. Parents are encouraged to assist with classroom help and numerous family night activities throughout the year. Hugo Reid is a good school and there are a handful of teachers that are outliers and truly outstanding. However, if you are unfortunate enough to have your child be bullied, don't expect that the administration will do anything to hold the bullies accountable. They will provide support to your child

The school administration's attitude is extremely poor. While I was driving to drop off my baby at kindergarten, I received a call from the school informing me that my son had brought a toy card to school, which is not allowed. They demanded that I immediately go to the school to retrieve the card.

Teacher yelling at parents when picking up students now every afternoon. One day the teacher aggressively yelled at a non-English speaking parent who is riding a bicycle to pick up his kid, “you have to go that way, you have to go that way if you pick them up on foot; this is for picking up by cars.

I would highly recommend this school. They always showed kindness and respect to the students. Last month my daughter got very sick she had to miss the school many days. Her teacher Mrs. Ortland showed so much worry and kindness through her problem. She also, made all her classmates write something
