High Desert Haven Non Public School

I am so grateful for Mr. Williams and Mrs. Torres these second grade teachers are so wonderful they really care about these children. It shows that they both love what they do. I believe Green Tree East Elementary Leadership Academy is so blessed to have them as teachers.

The office staff is horrible. No compassion for the children. Or the parents for that matter. The principal is not very active in stopping bullying. The teachers are very good. The proctor's and crossing guards are great. But the face of the school is the office staff and they are horrible.

My son loves going to school here, everyday he comes home with some project that he has been working on and for being in TK I feel it is very interactive. Last week he brought home a seed he had sprouted and this week he said they have a caterpillar in the class that will become a butterfly. He's learning so much!

I love this school. I had 4 kids at the school two graduated from there, I still have two attending Sixth st prep school even though I live 20m away from there and still drive them to school every day. That's how much I love it ! and think my kids do great there. My daughter at second grade was reading at 5th grade level.

Absolutely horrible, do not send your child(ren) to this school. When my children were enrolled, there was no room for them at the other schools. My children ended up being homeschooled after attending this school. The whole staff lacks accountability, responsibility and respect. Field trips with this school are never on time, dates change with little notice, prices change, they are usually 1 to 3 hours late returning and give no notice to parents of the delay. When you question why you were not notified they place the blame on the children saying the child was supposed to call or text the parents letting then know they would be late, when the teacher is told the child does not have a cellphone the teacher responds, " that's not my problem ". Their claims are false... college ready school- false, zero tolerance for bullying-false, great staff that cares for students-false, safe environment-false.Honestly I am not sure how this school is still open and operating.

My joy is seeing students succeed in life. The teacher and student can work together over multiple years so I have seen my students grow from elementary through High School and beyond. I love to be one of those adults that can help students find their talents, passions, careers and help give direction.

the school does very little to support struggling students and those with metal health problems

I Just graduated from this school last year, and it was good the first two years. After that, I noticed people were constantly bullied. I know that when you bring it up they virtually do nothing to help. The principle (since retired) knew about my issues with someone and put me in her class every year, making it worse. I loved my teachers and they were nice, but if your child has a chance of being bullied, maybe be careful.
