Our family feels fortunate to be a part of this amazing community. We chose Saint Mark's because they strike a special balance between social and emotional learning and academic rigor while truly honoring childhood through all the various enrichment opportunities and activities. Relationships are fostered and cultivated in an intentional manner so you easily witness and feel kindness and respect between students, teachers, other staff and parents. There are several opportunities to get plugged into the community! So the connections feel real and deeper. The leadership has really proven to be committed to the school and go above and beyond especially in light of the year we have had with the fires. The teachers have also gone through great lengths to ensure that our kids feel safe, secure, and connected. The ratios of teachers-to-students allows for each student to feel that they are receiving full attention and care when it comes to their learning. We are immensely grateful that our two children are truly excited to go to school each day and continue to grow in their confidence, empathy, curiosity, and kindness.

One of the most wonderful Armenian private schools in California! The teachers are very educated and are great with the children. They know how to make them love learning and feel safe at the same time. The class sizes are small, so it's like the teacher is your private tutor.The principal, Mrs Maral, is great and very understanding.

This school is so wonderful. My three sons have absolutely thrived at Firehouse. They are multiples and all different socially and academically and the school was wonderful in treating them as individuals. I chose the school because it is very clean and looked very fun for the kids. I had heard good things and knew my sons would be in good hands. What was an added bonus was the fact that all of my 4 year olds are able to read and do basic math! This school has prepped them for elementary school beyond what I could have ever expected. They have a wonderful music teacher who comes twice a week and the option for additional Sports and Science classes, which we have loved. The community of parents and teachers is so wonderful! Ms. Ishani does a wonderful job directing the school.
