Read what parents are saying about Wildfire Elementary SchoolBoth of my girls had the best educational/student support from K-6.
Posted by a parent on 12/8/2023I’ve had 2 children (boy & girl) attend Wildfire from K-6th grades. This school, it’s teacher & staff, & the clubs (including extra-curricular) were all excellent. The events & sense of belonging to a school community was extremely unique & inclusive. In addition to advanced / accelerated learning options to class trips to teacher participation... this is how school ‘could be’. 2 thumbs up!

Posted by a parent on 1/23/2020Overall this has been a good experience. The teachers, support staff, and administration are all invested in the children and work to find solutions to issues that arise.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUsed to be great not anymore - Ever since the changeover in principles this school has gone downhill. Never in my life have I seen a school where the staff is lazy, angry, grumpy, and unable to effectively manage children without resorting to the least effective methods. The school staff chooses to punish entire grade levels for the actions of one or two children. They withhold Sports and physical activities as a form of punishment for everyone in that grade. They insist that it is the children's duty to enforce discipline over other students instead of being adults and taking care of the problem themselves. I've never seen a group of misguided faculty in my life. Further the faculty seems malcontent to be there, and strive to do the least amount of work possible. From the front desk staff to the administration the entire lot. I can't recommend the school at all. I originally bought a home in this neighborhood to have my children attend this school. I am thankful that that my youngest will soon be leaving.Parent Review4w ago - Desert Trails Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTo be honest, I think the school is way too advanced. Now that is not necessarily a bad thing, however, my child is in first grade, she can read, write, and spell 100 words all on her own without any help, her teacher says she should know 170 words and I should look into a holding her back a grade. An average first grader knows 100 words I am very proud of her. They also started doing presentations in front of the class and they grade them on pronunciation of the words which are very hard with the layout given. I feel that is too much for a first grader. Some of the spelling words that she had was responsibility, punish, and awkward. In my opinion, this is way too hard for a first grader, and she will not be going back after the school year.Parent Review1mo ago - Fireside Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeing new to Fireside we are blessed to have found a truly amazing school! Both of my boys teachers have been so helpful in getting them acclimated. They communicate effectively and respond quickly to emails. The homework makes sense and is directly related to what they are doing in class or work they have not finished. My older son is in the Honors classes for reading and math. His Honors teacher is incredible! The class sizes are larger than I’d like, but that is true all over AZ. Very happy to join the Fireside Community!Parent Review1y ago
