Very bad school to go to. A lot of teachers and staff members are mean and bully the children. Please don’t bring your kids here. I even heard from other teachers from high school saying this middle school is horrible for kids to go. They have a hard time dealing with the students from Palo Verde. Look at the reviews before sending your kids. It’s a very bad place. Also it’s always about money. Everyday cost to do anything. Which that isn’t an issue but they sure don’t give you a heads up. Teachers and principals are mean and don’t care what parents say. They are horrible with communication. But so quick to suspend your kids for no reason.

Roadrunner Elementary is such a great school and the staff are close knit and strive to make sure that the students have everything that they need.

I have taught at this school for close to ten years. I am pleased with the progress we had made with family and community connections. We have struggled with state test scores but our scores have improved. The teachers are dedicated to the students and it shows because the students are here every day.

My experience with this school has been deeply disappointing because the issues go far beyond one isolated incident.On the academic side, I requested a printed copy of my son’s report card so I could keep it for our records, which should be a simple and reasonable request for any parent. Instead, the front office was rude, dismissive, and acted as though I was asking for something unreasonable. That printout ended up revealing a grading mistake from a previous quarter that directly affected my son’s record. His teacher was honest, communicative, and acknowledged the mistake, but the front office and records staff were unwilling to help fix an error that was clearly made on the school’s end.My concerns also extend to student safety and bullying. My daughter has repeatedly been told by staff to “ignore it” when other students have bullied her. Even the school social worker was dismissive when concerns were brought up. There has been an ongoing issue with one student repeatedly putting hands on my daughter even after she said stop. The school assured me they would keep them separated, yet that clearly did not happen. As a result, my daughter’s cup was broken, her new glasses were nearly broken, and she was called inappropriate names. Despite repeated calls and attempts to address these concerns, I have often received no follow-up or return calls. What makes this most upsetting is that parents should feel heard, supported, and confident that their children are both safe and being treated fairly. Instead, I have consistently felt dismissed unless I continue pushing for answers myself.I do want to acknowledge that some teachers have shown accountability and professionalism. My frustration is not with every staff member, but with the overall lack of communication, poor follow-through, and the failure to properly address both academic errors and student safety concerns.I hope this review encourages leadership to improve how they communicate with families, take accountability when mistakes happen, and create a safer, more supportive environment for students.

This school has been the worst nightmare for 2 and a half years for my son and myself. He was denigrated by the teachers since his first year, one of his teachers told me that "he did not belong there". December 2019 was the last month he attended Ss. Simon & Jude, because another student attacked him for 2 days in a row and nobody saw anything, what a coincidence? But he chews gum in class and the whole school sees him and receives several behavior reports. He had to go to the emergency room, he had an injury to the fibula because the boy jumped on his leg while my son was on the floor. The next day, on Wednesday, I went to school and reported the incident. The first thing the principal asked me was, what do you wanted us to do? And I told her to do whatever she wanted. Obviously they weren't going to do anything since the kid’s mom works at the school. I told the principal, tomorrow will be his last day here. I will not risk the safety of my son, because the same student who attacked my son threatened to break his other leg. The principal continued to bring up the issue of my son's grades, when the most important thing was to resolve the situation that my son was attacked by another student and was sent to the emergency room and everything happened during lunch break, which supposedly there is supervision and during the transition from one class to another. On his last day of school (Thursday) his 7th grade teacher / classroom told him that "he was lying about what happened on his leg, that he had nothing" and also mentioned that" he was the cause of all the problems at school "and the principal thinks she has the "best educators", how can a teacher be so evil to a child? My son is attending a new school. His attitude has changed a lot, I see him happier, and his grades have improved a lot. We haven't had any problems, no complaints of any kind. I REGRET SENDING HIM THERE!!! SINCE THE DAY OF THE INSIDENT, HE'S BEEN ON CONSTANT AND SEVERE PAIN AND NOW HE HAS TO UNDERGO A PROCEDURE.
