The teachers are great but the the higher admin staff (Principle and Dean of students) not so much. The Dean of students will not do her job. She will avoid you if you want to talk about behavior problems with your child, even if a meeting with her is requested. When I'm at the school, there are children walking around unsupervised, in the court yard and in the buildings that hold the classrooms. I feel sorry for the teachers cause it seems like a hostile and extremely unorganized work environment for them. The whole school district seem to be unorganized, I have another child in same district that has special needs, and according to state law IEPs should be evaluated within 6 weeks of a child being moved to a school, we didnt get our IEP evaluated until late in the school year. My children will no longer attend Roosevelt School district.

This is sThe worst school ever . I sent my son here for kindergarten and he couldn't wait to start. Giving 2 month's in I was having problems with not only the teacher ( don't rember her name) but she was just rude and had an "just wanted to get the day over" kind of attitude not really even liking her job . at the end I had problems with kids teasing RIGHT IN FROUNT OF THE TEACHER AND HER NOT SAYING ONE WORD . I HAD TO WITHDRAWAL HIM ASAP THIS SCHOOL REALLY WENT DOWN HILL. great principal though.

Wonderful school my boys been going there since preschool. They love it .Everyone like family.

Hello, I will not say my name, but I am a current student at Phoenix Collegiate Academy in the 8th grade. To start off PCA has changed my life. Not just academics, but more of reality. Ever since I came to this school my life has changed because I think very positive now and I am now shooting for my dreams. Who knows if I would end up this positive about my life if it wasn't for this school. I highly recommend this school to all the children who want to get their life together but struggle. Teachers at Phoenix Collegiate care for you and are willing to help you out. I'm glad I came to PCA. Thanks PCA for changing my mind and helping me look out to the real world and helping me notice that there is much more things out there in the world. It is never to late to achieve dreams at Phoenix collegiate! You are an A+ in my heart. Shout out to Ms. Mcdonough and all other teachers for encouraging to take successful path!

The administration is exceptional. Kids are well fed in school and parents do not have to go through the stress of providing breakfast before taking kids to school.
