NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are great but the the higher admin staff (Principle and Dean of students) not so much. The Dean of students will not do her job. She will avoid you if you want to talk about behavior problems with your child, even if a meeting with her is requested. When I'm at the school, there are children walking around unsupervised, in the court yard and in the buildings that hold the classrooms. I feel sorry for the teachers cause it seems like a hostile and extremely unorganized work environment for them. The whole school district seem to be unorganized, I have another child in same district that has special needs, and according to state law IEPs should be evaluated within 6 weeks of a child being moved to a school, we didnt get our IEP evaluated until late in the school year. Giving 2 month's in I was having problems with not only the teacher ( don't rember her name) but she was just rude and had an "just wanted to get the day over" kind of attitude not really even liking her job . at the end I had problems with kids teasing RIGHT IN FROUNT OF THE TEACHER AND HER NOT SAYING ONE WORD .
