Horrible school! The new principal and vice principal ran off all the decent teachers and have pretty much all substitute teachers or non-certified teachers. The principal has no idea what he is doing. The few good teachers I’m sure will leave soon with the mess that school now is. The poor students
Posted by a parent on 9/18/2025I have two sons that graduated from here. One had a 504 plan. They were very accommodating and helpful to have him be the most successful he could be.
Posted by a parent on 9/20/2023Horrible. The school is toxic, the administration is toxic, a good number of the students are toxic. If you want your child to get a good education, do not walk, run away from this school and bring them to another school.

As a High School graduate from Sequoia Secondary I had no opportunities to go into College there was no support to help with any kind of enrollment to colleges and I wouldn’t recommend

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a newcomer to Arizona, but this school has really helped my family build roots here. Teachers line the halls and welcome students each and every day. The teachers are passionate about teaching and my daughter’s kindergarten teacher from three years ago still attends birthday parties and celebrations. We feel very lucky to have such a supportive and inclusive school in our community. I strongly urge other parents to think about Harris Elementary as an option for their children. We are so grateful how quickly our kids learned to read, and are excelling in almost all subjects. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of the teachers here are really wonderful however others don't treat the children very good at all. I've noticed that some of the teachers here talk down to the kids and don't treat them with kindness at all. Seems as though they very much have the mentality that children should be seen and not heard. My kids complained on several occasions that the teachers would raise their voice without reason, sometimes so loud they explained being frightened by certain teachers. Also I had called and requested my child be seen by the school counselor and my daughter said they never followed up. The bullying at this school is not taken seriously at all and often times is brushed off and the bullied kids walk away from situations feeling like they are at fault. We changed to Lincoln and what a difference! Lincoln has an amazing group of teachers, support staff, administrators and students! Everyone wants my kids to succeed! Bullying is not tolerated. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeaching is great . The teachers are amazing when they respond to messages or call back on time. Besides that , everything else is HORRIBLE . Ive been taking my children here for three years , and each year safety just gets worse and worse . And noone cares . There is a lady who sits up front on the right side and she called me to verify where my children were suppose to go , and she still sent my 5 yesr old KINDERGARTEN DAUGHTER to the main street .
