I have been very impressed with Glendale American. The administration is friendly and communicates well. They host many fun events, and the principal really knows her stuff. She worked hard with her staff to help my children and me, and I was very happy with the support we received. I often see her at games and school events, which shows how much she cares. The new front office staff has also been kind and helpful. My children’s teachers send regular updates on the Bloomz app, respond quickly, and clearly care about my kids. I also appreciate all the event reminders and updates on Bloomz. I like how helpful the older students are, too. They’ve helped children get to class and even learn how to use the computer. You can tell the administration truly cares and works very hard. I’m very happy with Glendale American!

Sunset has been a wonderful school for my daughter! She has learned so much and grown! When we moved to Arizona she went to Surprise Elementary and it wasn’t the best experience. Huge shout out to all the teachers so many I appreciate I couldn’t even begin to say. But I will say EVERY SINGLE person that works and takes care of our kids there are the top tier of choices. Natalia is the front office goes above and beyond for the kids and parents. Thank you for everything you’re all amazing! Thank you!

Many years ago, on my son's first day of kindergarten, he was riding the school bus home from Marshall Ranch when an older kid beat him up on the bus, and the bus driver just laughed. We went back to the school which told us they would not discipline the driver for not stopping the beatdown, because "bus drivers are hard to find". I will never forget or forgive Marshall Ranch, ever.

Desert palms is an horrible school but I will never put my child in this school ever AGAIN! My daughter was bullied for half of her time there. She would come home everyday and cry she would lash out on me and her father just because of all the bullying. The school never did anything to help her feel better. A Teacher once ran out of a class just to chase two students then left my child alone in the class with serval students. Sports are okay but my daughter never got to play softball because no one would coach. Another incident that happened was when a student threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot my daughter and her friend my daughter was not involved but just because she was in the friend group she got a threat too. they suspended that student for about 3 days. The assistant principal is rude he always has a bad attitude My daughters social studies teacher was the best and most understandable Shout out to Ms. sovich. Also Mr. gross my other daughters old math teacher was great!

My step daughter has been going to this school for a while. All this time that she has been here was terrible for her. The vice principal at this school has been picking on my step daughter. I do not tolerate this behavior. I do not recommend Ira Murphy for anyone. The staff here is terrible. They never want to hear anyone out and make so many false accusations. If I could take my step daughter out of this school, I would. She has been complaining to me about her school and the staff there. I absolutely do not want to see any other kid feeling this way. Seeing my step daughter looking miserable everyday after school makes my heart shatter and fills me with anger. This is a terrible school and no child should have to go through this.

This school use to be great. I have 3 kids, 2 went from start to finish, my 3rd is almost done and it can not come soon enough. The teachers struggle with support. There is no training for teachers in special education. The ladies in the front reception are great, but otherwise it's gone so down hill. There is no consequences from admin if you bully other kids. So much infact they will bully you personally as a parent. Sadly there isnt much around this area for schooling options so best of luck if you buy a house in the area. Peoria unified as a whole is a disaster.
