I have been very impressed with Glendale American. The administration is friendly and communicates well. They host many fun events, and the principal really knows her stuff. She worked hard with her staff to help my children and me, and I was very happy with the support we received. I often see her at games and school events, which shows how much she cares. The new front office staff has also been kind and helpful. My children’s teachers send regular updates on the Bloomz app, respond quickly, and clearly care about my kids. I also appreciate all the event reminders and updates on Bloomz. I like how helpful the older students are, too. They’ve helped children get to class and even learn how to use the computer. You can tell the administration truly cares and works very hard. I’m very happy with Glendale American!

Abraham Lincoln Traditional School is a fantastic school with a strong emphasis on both academics and parent involvement. One of the things that truly sets it apart is the collaboration between the school and families. For example, the dress code was thoughtfully created with parent input to ensure that clothing does not distract from what matters most, learning.The school also implemented PBIS, which focuses on teaching appropriate behavior through positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This creates a supportive and encouraging environment for students.The teachers and staff go above and beyond every day to provide the best possible education and experience for the kids. There are also many events funded by the GUILD, which help build a strong sense of community and consistently encourage parent engagement.This is not your typical school. Students are challenged academically with nightly homework, memorization of poems, and quarterly book reports. The grading scale is also more rigorous than in many other schools, pushing students to work harder and reach their full potential.Overall, Abraham Lincoln Traditional School offers a structured, engaging, and highly supportive environment that helps students thrive both academically and personally

My son has been attending Manzanita since 2nd grade. He is now in the 5th grade. Principal Givens is very caring and passionate about each kid and does her best to make sure ALL kids are safe and engaged. The school has a lot of fun events that the students look forward to. The teachers not only teach the curriculum but teach kids how to be respectful, responsible and safe.

Tumbleweed is a great school with a very supportive community feel. My first child started there in 2014, and I still have two kids at Tumbleweed. Throughout our time at tumbleweed it’s been an inclusive and positive experience. My kids have all had some really amazing teachers and friends at Tumbleweed over the years. There’s a great project potential program that my oldest enjoyed. There’s also an informative and supportive team in place for my younger children who require an IEP and 504 plan. Those things can be daunting and the school staff has made it easier to navigate and has always been very supportive and understanding of each of my childrens’ unique needs.

Desert palms is an horrible school but I will never put my child in this school ever AGAIN! My daughter was bullied for half of her time there. She would come home everyday and cry she would lash out on me and her father just because of all the bullying. The school never did anything to help her feel better. A Teacher once ran out of a class just to chase two students then left my child alone in the class with serval students. Sports are okay but my daughter never got to play softball because no one would coach. Another incident that happened was when a student threatened to bring a gun to school and shoot my daughter and her friend my daughter was not involved but just because she was in the friend group she got a threat too. they suspended that student for about 3 days. The assistant principal is rude he always has a bad attitude My daughters social studies teacher was the best and most understandable Shout out to Ms. sovich. Also Mr. gross my other daughters old math teacher was great!
