Since my youngest started he has always been a target and in trouble for every little thing but yet can get hit, pushed, physically hurt and it is always brushed off as an accident. Things have changed dramatically now that my granddaughter is there. My daughter deliberately chose to live in Cato district so her child could go to school there but now has major regrets. Since the new administration took over, everything seems to revolve around state testing instead of what kids actually need. It feels like constant test prep, and real learning and support have taken a back seat.What’s even more concerning is that if a child has additional needs, it doesn’t feel like those needs are actually being met. The support just isn’t consistent, and that’s not okay.I’ve also seen a clear negative change in my child’s mental and emotional well-being, and that’s a huge red flag for me. School should not be this stressful for kids.At this point, I would not recommend this school to other families and am planning to pull my child out.Don’t send your kid here.
