The teachers and staff do a great job of providing rigorous and innovative lessons that enhance student learning. The culture is one that celebrates diversity and allows for and fosters student growth.
Posted by a community member on 3/17/2015Our school is filled with the best teachers and staff. Each member of this school truly cares about the students who attend here. We have some phenomenal programs available for students, from drama, to choir and band, EAST lab, engineering, Bio Medical, Pre-AP and AP classes, Art, etc. We also have various clubs for students to be involved in. Every student has the opportunity to feel included and has ways to learn about things that interest him/her.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis use to be my favorite school back in the early (2000). But now if your child is not the teacher favorite they are labeled as the class trouble maker and it doesn't matter if he/she do something or not or defend their self that one child gets in trouble sad but true but nothing happens to the other child/children. My child second grade experience at this school has been horrible on all levels. It has gotten to the point he/she hates to go to school. I have witnessed nothing but encouragement from the entire faculty at Sequoyah. I know when I send my kids to school every day, they will be taught, and cared for, in a patient, understanding, and fun environment.
