Oakland Heights Elementary School

This use to be my favorite school back in the early (2000). But now if your child is not the teacher favorite they are labeled as the class trouble maker and it doesn't matter if he/she do something or not or defend their self that one child gets in trouble sad but true but nothing happens to the other child/children. My child second grade experience at this school has been horrible on all levels. It has gotten to the point he/she hates to go to school. I am glad to say he/she will not be attending this school next year. A very very one sided school now.

I am a parent of a child who thrives on academic challenges, and a child who struggles academically. I have witnessed nothing but encouragement from the entire faculty at Sequoyah. I know when I send my kids to school every day, they will be taught, and cared for, in a patient, understanding, and fun environment. My family is blessed to get to be a part of Sequoyah Elementary.

My child was bullied here and they never resolved it. Not the teacher, not the principal and not the priest. They got aggravated with every time I told them about an incident instead of resolving it.
