Holt Middle School

My son was bullied and threatened to be killed and I found out from my son not the school and when i called they said ya that happened had to file a police report. His teacher targeted him and allowed this to go on and even treated him terribly and when called out on it she always had an excuse. Now they r refusing to call back about fixing his disciplinary record because this incident is on there and they make it seem like my child caused this. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! had meetings with the district vice superintendent who refuses to send me paperwork to file a formal complaint. I now moved out of state and its causing my son to be denied into school because of this. This school is awful when it comes to communication and will protect their teachers and not students.

Glad to leave this school behind, have had terrible experiences with the new administration. Have blatantly refused to follow iep for my child. They have not communicated clearly on anything. Lots of aggression in classrooms not being managed. I would rather homeschool than be in this district ever again.

Leverrett is an exceptional school. I love that my children are given so many opportunities to learn in many styles. The Gifted and Talented program is wonderful and I love the diversity that comes with being so close to the U of A campus.

My children's experience at Owl Creek has been great. It's one of the most diverse schools in the area. Everyone has always been welcoming and friendly, and there's a sense of community and belonging at Owl Creek. Mr. Craft has been with Owl Creek for several years. He has been a great leader/principal. My kids respect him due to the kindness and respect he shows the children. Overall I highly recommend Owl Creek (both elementary and middle school) has great teachers with experience who seem to care about my kid's well-being and education!
