Holcomb Elementary School

Glad to leave this school behind, have had terrible experiences with the new administration. Have blatantly refused to follow iep for my child. They have not communicated clearly on anything. Lots of aggression in classrooms not being managed. I would rather homeschool than be in this district ever again.

Leverrett is an exceptional school. I love that my children are given so many opportunities to learn in many styles. The Gifted and Talented program is wonderful and I love the diversity that comes with being so close to the U of A campus.

My children's experience at Owl Creek has been great. It's one of the most diverse schools in the area. Everyone has always been welcoming and friendly, and there's a sense of community and belonging at Owl Creek. Mr. Craft has been with Owl Creek for several years. He has been a great leader/principal. My kids respect him due to the kindness and respect he shows the children. Overall I highly recommend Owl Creek (both elementary and middle school) has great teachers with experience who seem to care about my kid's well-being and education!

We have been part of the TNS community for almost 4 years now. My children started in the ECE program and have now grown into the lower school. It is amazing to see and experience the genuine care and excitement the faculty and staff have for my children, no - for ALL the children. I am talking from the Head of School to the maintenance staff. The cafeteria staff through the general day to day administration staff who wouldn’t normally know our children. This place knows their names, knows their ongoings and knows their hearts! During this crazy time of uncertainty, not once have I had to question if they are placing the children first. Not once have I had to question a decision being made concerning my children’s safety or the staffs safety. They have thought of everything to care for the whole child... General health screenings, sanitizing, social distancing, safe nutrition and mental well being are all being cared for. YES, we pay tuition, however there are substantial opportunities for scholarships to assist we’re needed. The bus provided for Benton county families is a great help and before and after school care for working families, such as ours, has been a great relief.

We enrolled our son over the summer with high hopes of a creative and loving school environment. Within weeks we saw a drastic change in our child's behavior at home, he was much more aggressive and defiant. We brought our concerns to the teacher numerous times over a course of a few weeks, each time we were told the bullying was being addressed in class and all eyes were on the students. Each week our child told us things were still happening to him by another student, we asked to speak to the to the director/owner and were told parents are not allowed to speak with Victoria Butler directly. We promptly removed our child and he is back to his happy, loving self. I would not recommend this school based on the lack of visibility and involvement by the administration, they could not keep our child safe and we never heard a word from the owner/director. This place is chaotic, unorganized, has poor communication with parents, and we left feeling like our child and his safety and happiness did not matter.
