Posted by a parent on 7/14/2015Great school...poor leadership. I'm glad I don't work there. Sad actually. The staff seems edgy and burned out mid year which bleeds over to our children. Heidi should not be working with children.

He was labeled as an unmotivated learner, but he was actually just extremely bored. Like all of the public schools in Anchorage, they cater to the bottom of half

I like the events and curriculum and all that, but i think the school can improve the staff. That would really help. Most of the other reasons are unexplainable. B

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has implemented great ideals in my child, I had two daughters go through Gladys Wood one who needed Special Education classes and regardless of whether she was doing the on level grade work or not, every teacher made her feel included with the class and allowed her to participate and gain confidence in her abilities. They encouraged my younger daughters entrepreneurial spirit and also talk her valuable lessons in doing the right thing. I am glad to see this school is finally getting some upgrades as well.
