There are SO many offerings that allow for students to get a glimpse/experience of what they would like to do post HS graduation. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2/3 kids that are going or have gone to Lackamas. Overall I really like the school. I have one child that was very difficult when it came to academics and sometimes behavior while the other is my easy child- gets good grades does what they are told. In my opinion every child learns differently. We've also had at least one teacher that didn't seem to really help students understand the work well. The bullying policy to me isn't all that effective in my opinion. We've dealt with it a few times. "There’s a Walmart less than a mile away and two Starbucks less than a mile the other way. Most of my commute is a 30 minute drive to either JBLM my or Lacey for shopping at Costco, mall, etc. However, we are military and I’m someone who buys some stuff in bulk."

" it's a bit of a commute, but necessary services are close by. I like the country feel. but it takes 30 min to get to Tacoma, 40 min to Olympia and over an hour to get to Seattle, depends on traffic."
