Ridgeline Middle School

The principal makes this school safe for the students, even at the cost of politics. No direct threats or walking dead language at this elementary school thanks. Parents of children who are allowed to watch and act out explicit material at home will not like the principal (obviously like the parents in some other reviews). The PTO is thriving. Movie night in the gym was our families favorite PTO event this year. If you enjoy hearing about what your child learned today and how much fun they had, enroll them at Milpond. This is where good kids thrive with a safe education.

I have been so pleased with McKenna Elementary. This is my child’s second year, and she was a transfer from Mill Pond which was an awful school. The principal has been amazing, handled any concerns immediately, and my daughters teachers have been amazing. My daughter finally loves going to school and I couldn’t be more thankful to the staff at McKenna Elementary.

I want to express my extreme disappointment with this school, particularly the kindergarten program. My son was enrolled in kindergarten, but unfortunately, we had terrible experiences that led us to withdraw him and enroll him in a different school.The primary issue was with his teacher. She isolated him by placing his desk away from the other students. Despite our attempts to collaborate and find a solution, the teacher instead portrayed him as a problem child. This was particularly concerning because his behavior was never an issue with his bus drivers or at daycare.Since transferring to a new school, my son, now in second grade, has thrived without any behavioral problems. This experience highlights a significant need for better teacher training at Southworth, especially in classroom management and problem-solving. It is crucial for educators to work collaboratively with parents to support each child’s unique needs.

They are very against bullying. They are so great and helpful with their students and really show they care about their students and family's. They resolve any issues with grace and kindness. This school is one of the best elementary schools I've had my children in. Very happy.

After a child w some extra needs was already enrolled and a quarter in already. The school had no idea about a IEP program that they were supposed to be in and attending. Then proceeded to only do the bare minimum for the child. The school made the child take regular exams even being in this program and then complained to the parents that they were below what they should be. In class a child was slapped by a classmate. The school did not reach out at all to either of the parents. Not even a email. Or to to even check on the child. The teacher said that an advocate was supposed to reach out and it never happened. The parents only found out way later when attending conferences. Then tryed to blame it on being short staffed. If a child is Harmed in any way the parents should be contacted right away, no excuses! Beware of this school!

I went to this private school when I was in 6th grade and because I was the new kid I somehow was made a systematic scapegoat by all the kids there and was treated like an outcast the entire time I was attending when my parents brought it up to the school and principal themselves it had only made the problem worse not even a slight bit better I was treated as the problem not the one that was being ignored and constantly bullied by the kids I was in class with so if you care anything about your kids mental health this is not the place for them
