4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give less than one star, I would. I have put 4 students through this school, and at every turn we have been presented with issue after issue. I certainly wouldn't expect a middle school to be a perfect place, we all know what middle school is like. Kids at that age have a lot going on and stuff happens. With that said however, Npms does not do Anything to help when the situation surpasses what is acceptable. The bullying my kids have dealt with is appalling and the staff did next to nothing to help. When they have needed extra help in classes, it has been incredibly hard to get extra assistance. I have a Special needs son who was regularly put into situation that they knew very well he could not handle. There was absolutely no support or help provided to him or our family as far as social and emotional guidance or intervention. He was regularly removed from class, but given no alternative work or task to complete. And I was never notified of his removal or when he was struggling. There were MANY opportunities for them to provide help and support that they simple chose not too. I was Actively seeking a solution for my son that would better suit him, and despite having resources that could have been provided they fell short every time. If your child has special needs.. Staff makes a pointed effort to know my child's name and recognize our family. As a student, our child has been supported and advocated for in regards to specific needs and issues as they arise. We have two more children entering into elementary school here, and we are confident that they will have a positive experience while getting their educational and emotional needs met in the classroom environment. "If you're talking about greenstone properties development, I'm been here 8 years. It's got crowded people that don't live here come Here Is the problem for me? And I don't really like the idea. Without gating community, it is caused a problem for me. I can't hardly walk my dog sometimes. There might be 4 people walking I'd like to see the area gated with a key. So the only access to this place would be the people that live here. It's gotten polluted, people are breaking the fence. They're breaking the The bench a The shooting area and also other areas. They have broken, then I can't even tell you. So open gated HOA is no no"

"There are children around but only by necessity as rent is very cheap here. It is absolutely not friendly, one of the most dangerous areas in Spokane. Prolific trash and dumping, as well as a very heavy homeless population. There are obvious signs of drug use, as well as public drug use sightings increasing. People drive extremely fast and recklessly depending on the road. Not a place for children."

"Great neighborhood with amenities like parks, groceries and speciality stores. Convenient to get downtown via Southeast Blvd. Easy to get to the I-90 freeway to get to the Valley, Airway Heights, and area near the freeway. Not as cozy a neighborhood as the west side of the South Hill. More commercial but you get the conveniences."
