3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe just moved into the neighborhood and we have had a good experience so far. They keep me informed about what is going on with my child and seem to enjoy motivating the kids about learning. There are things that need work, however I believe that with increased parent support the school would be in a much better place.Parent Review6mo ago - Walnut Hill Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethough, it was several years ago; this school was a complete utter nightmare. bullying was only physical once but other times very verbal, i was an outcast and only had 1 friend who i hardly even talked to because the kids took every opportunity to single me out, the teacher was no help what-so-ever and may have encouraged it. i was too young to understand a lot of things, nor did i understand why no one liked me, my only comfort was my puppy: Juju who's long deceased now. i remember crying one day after falling out of my chair and hurting myself, everyone laughed at me. i was pushed off of the swing once and i was suspended for playing with a neckless i found on the ground- i was too scared to go back to the playground -that a child claimed was her's, i didn't know what that meant so i didn't bother to tell mom and i showed up the next day, to which i was berated by my own teacher. this place was the worst and is a big part of a lot of my trauma, do NOT let your children learn here, move elsewhere if you can.Other Review1mo ago - Peabody Middle School

"None. It’s dirty here. There’s no money being put into the city therefore things stay the same and get older and dirtier. The water and air stinks due to trash island In Colonial Heights. Don’t move here. "

"People do not like kids, dog’s or cats in this neighborhood. Their are a few animal lovers like myself but then theirs so many complaints on the neighborhood app about them too. It’s very sad. And heaven only help if there’s snow on the ground and a family takes their children four wheeling or sledding through it. This neighborhood you need to be 65 or older to fit in. And no this is not coming from a home that drinks and parties. We have never had 1 party since we live here it’s not our thing and my husband and I don’t drink at all to we do not have rowdy behavior or expectations. Keep in mind I am only speaking of the neighborhood that I live in. I’m not sure about other neighborhoods out here. "
