6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAshlawn is an Excellent school in every way. There are a lot of factors that go into learning.Teachers can't fix everything, including home issues & emotional problems. For the most part, these teachers do the best they can with their positive influence & teaching skills during the hours the students are at school.Anything outside of that is out of their control.Thank You,Eileen SalterOther Review4mo ago - Swanson Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageoh boy swanson is built different. my grandfather went there my dad went there and so did I, so pretty much its an old school and they haven’t won much to modernize it. The teachers are mid the counselors are mid. Students are below mid but the assistant principals for each grade are absolutely amazing.swanson smells like b.o PE-U!Student Review1y ago - Washington Liberty High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to WL and then went on to UCLA, where they accepted the 50 college credits she earned through the AP and IB programs. This is an outstanding school. I don't know how great schools came up with a score of 5 out of 10.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 900 N Taylor St #1810.

"Ballston is a very lively place to be. Parks, good schools, large number of new restaurants opening up right now, but also pretty chaotic because the area is growing so much (my apartment building has been undergoing loud renovations since I moved in four years ago). I love being by the metro, living blocks from the library and parks, and generally having access to excellent community amenities. Lots of young people and young families"
