6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur daughter graduated in the spring and is attending college now. She participated in cheer, FFA, and took concurrent enrollment classes her senior year. From classes at MTech she has a dental assisting certificate that allows her to work in a dental office while she is studying dental hygiene. She always felt safe and supported by faculty and administrators. Communication came through email and the school web site. Whenever I went into the school I was treated well by everyone. They offer a wide variety of standard courses and electives such as shop, ag science, music, athletics, etc. She had a diverse group of friends who worked hard at what they did and loved serving others. Her counselors held frequent meetings and workshops about college applications, scholarships, financial aid, etc. Anyone who doesn't take advantage has themselves to complain to because they were readily available and widely communicated.Parent Review6mo ago - Springville Jr High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLook, I won't lie, this school isn't the greatest. There are a lot of days where I just wish I didn't have to deal with any of it. But I will say this: I don't think the teachers are to blame for the poor quality of this school. Yes, there are some teachers who seem to actively work against students, but the majority of them are trying their best. The students, administration, and culture of the school, however... Yikes. The bottom line is, SJHS *tries* to take care of its students and their mental health and all manner of other things, but as Yoda once said, "Do or do not, there is no try."Student Review2mo ago - Brookside School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has had the best teachers every single year. She is in 4 th grade and every year the last day of school is a painful one because both she and I are so attached and impressed with the best teacher ever. Every single year she has felt this way. Every teacher has been equally amazing. They really care and go out of their way to help in any situation and I have to give a huge shout out to the principle who we will miss dearly. She knows my daughters name. Sometimes she just searches her out to say hi to her and ask her how her day is going. My daughter loves school. She loves going. That speaks volumes. Way to go brookside.Other Review7y ago - Check out schools near 1748 Sky View Loop #6.

"Keep track of your kids. We have them play on the upper streets next to the mountain, further away from states street. But it is a nice place and people will come and take packages from your porch if it’s there all day. And anything of worth in your pick up truck outside your house. "

"20 minutes to work, but it's a nice and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. University Mall is a closer commute as well as the Riverwoods Shopping Center, and there are a few great parks in the neighborhood and close by my neighborhood like Rock Canyon Park and the Orem City Park and the park across from the Riverwoods Shopping Center."

"Most people use cars, taking the bus is too inconvenient and pricey. A few travel by bike. The roads are really big which is nice, and allow easy street parking. Most people have garages though, so the streets are pretty clear. Because they are so big though, speeding is super common. The area is pretty all year long. "
